I-74 Bridge Project
The I-74 Mississippi River Bridge project is part of an overall plan to improve the I-74 corridor from Moline, Illinois to Bettendorf, Iowa. The project includes the replacement of the I-74 bridges over the Mississippi River as well as interchange ramp reconfigurations and local roadway improvements.
Missouri River Levee
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in Omaha says it has awarded a $12 million contract to repair a Missouri River levee near Hamburg, Iowa, that broke during catastrophic flooding last month. The trucks have been hauling sand and dirt down to the levee to build it up.
